Perfrect pincushions

Standard

As I mentioned, I now love sewing, which is great because I’ve had loads of tips and materials from both of my grandmothers, but what I lack is a pin cushion. Being me, I wanted to give myself a challenge, so I set out to find a pattern for me to make my own pincushion. After tirelessly searching for ages, I found a craft blog. There I found a pattern for a cute toadstool pincushion.

Just search ‘mushroom pincushions’ into the search bar.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Standard

On Saturday I’m going to Central London to see award winning musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with some freinds! I’m really looking foward to it as I adore the book by Roald Dahl, It’s so funny! If you haven’t read any of his books before, then I highly recommend them. My favorite has got to be ‘The Twits’. What’s yours? Feel free to comment and let me know!

Hey guys, how are you? Recently, I’ve discovered a passion for sewing! I’ve been looking at LOADS of websites and Youtube videos for tips and ideas. Do you have any projects that you’d like to share? I’ve made a toy monkey out of a pair of socks, and I hope to be sharing things that I make really soon. If you know any good websites, could you let me know?

Recently, I was on Youtube and I found a vedio where someone had combined clips from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, with Skyfall by Adele. Being a massive HP fan, I had to watch it. I was amazed at how well the two very different things go to together. If you want to watch it, search ‘Harry Potter Skyfall’ into Youtube. You’ll find a selection of different ones that you can enjoy.
